Need to Lose Weight Quick? Here’s How.

If you need to lose weight quick, there are a number of things you can do to help get to your goal.  But first, I would ask you what the reason is for the urgency and encourage you to reconsider this route.  If you’ve got a wedding or other special event you’re going to attend and you’re worried about what others will think, please be assured, you’re not going to lose enough weight in one week to make a difference in a persons critical attitude towards you.  At the most, you’ll lose 10-12 lbs on a very restrictive diet and that shouldn’t be the difference between stunning and blah for the typical person.

Assuming you have a fantastic reason to lose weight quickly, there are a number of steps you can take to make sure you’re doing it correct.  The first thing to do is define what you mean when you say you want to lose weight fast.  For some people, 10 lbs in a week is fast, while others are content with losing 10 lbs over the course of 3 or 4 weeks.  I would suggest, anything more than 10-12 lbs in one week is going be extremely unhealthy and I don’t recommend it.

Some of the best quick ways to lose weight are incorporating a massive boost in the number of calories you’re burning.  Since you’re just looking for short term, more immediate results, I wouldn’t spend very much time lifting weights.  You can do that once you reach your goal and want to workout for your long term desires.  For now, spend every minute you have available running, swimming, jumping, biking or cycling.  You need to burn as many calories as you can each day.  I would even suggest you do some sort of aerobic activity first thing in the morning and again in the afternoon.  When you start your day off with a cardio workout, you’re going to give your metabolism a boost that will last the entire day.  Additionally, I would make sure your first workout each day is on a completely empty stomach, right after you wake up.  Your body has just gone through a 6-10 hour fast and any exercise you do is going to burn fat.

If that’s already too much work and you’re looking for the absolute easy ways to lose weight fast, you’re probably someone who should consider some sort of surgery to accomplish your goals.  But, even a doctor will tell you you’re probably being a little unrealistic about what you want.  Still, you may find one greedy enough to take your money for the operation.

It’s extremely important you put yourself on some sort of vitamin and mineral supplement to make sure you body is getting everything it needs to maintain your good health.  I always recommend the natural plant based vitamins over the ones that are synthetically produced.  Yes, they’re going to be more expensive, but you’re going to get a lot more out of them.  Your body is designed to absorb nutrients from plants, regardless of the state they’re in.  That can’t be said about man made vitamins.  Also, I’m not convinced we’re able to exactly duplicate what God created in our food.

Lastly, make sure you’re drinking plenty of water each day.  What’s the amount you drink?  Probably more than you are right now.  There are a lot of different opinions on how much water to drink so I’m not going to offer up my suggestions.  I will say this, if you feel hungry during the day, grab a bottle of water before you grab some food.  Also, make sure when you do have something to drink, make sure it’s water instead of soda.  I believe our bodies are very good as letting us know what we need and yours will tell you when you’re thirsty.  Just make sure you understand, the majority of the time, when we think our body is hungry, it’s really thirsty.  I hope that helps.
