Body sculpting is a full body workout that combines cardio with strength training but using very little weights, if any. The other commonly discussed form of body sculpting comes from the quick and easy route known as smart liposuction. This website is all about fitness not body sculpting surgery, so if you were looking for the quick and easy, this not the article you were seeking.
A body sculpting workout is an intense workout with very few breaks. There are some great workouts on the market for use at home like The Firm Body Sculpting System, Barry’s Boot Camp, P90X and the Beachbody Insanity DVD’s. If you don’t have the ability to buy these videos, don’t worry I have some things you can do without spending very much money.
All you have to do is incorporate some resistance training, plyometrics, and core workouts into your cardio routine. You don’t have to stop there either; you can introduce new exercises into your cardo at your own pace. This can be as easy as going for a jog with push-ups every half mile. You can also mix it up with come core workouts or any other upper or lower body exercises. If you have a park near you with calisthenics stations every tenth of a mile (give or take) these are great places for body sculpting system exercises. I don’t think I need to go too deep into that, you simply run or jog around the track and stop at every station doing what that particular station was designed for.
This also works with those of you who have gym memberships. You have to know what machines you are going to be using so that there is no pause in your workout. Start off with a warm-up session between five and ten minutes. Take the time to make sure your muscles are good and warmed up. So you do your warm-up and hit the weights immediately with NO BREAKS. For instance do a chest exercise and immediately go to the next exercise just as a leg machine or whatever fits your plan, again with no break.
Using this method you can breeze through a typical weight lifting workout in half the time you would if you were taking multiple breaks. If there is someone on your machine when you get to it do something else. NO EXCUSES! I understand there will be mini breaks while you are changing weights or machines, but not the typical minute to minute and a half. Do a normal weight lifting routine without any breaks and believe me your heart will be pounding! That is all the cardio you need that day. If you prefer to do a fat burn workout, (low heart rate) that’s fine, you can do it before or after, whatever you like best.
