It’s no secret, if you want to have a rock hard body, you are not going to get it by eating fresh bread and cookies. However, there is a way you can stick to your diet without having to give up all of your favorite foods.  In fact, being able to treat yourself to a cookie or a plate of pasta can add to your success if you could learn how to replace some of your favorite recipes.  Unfortunately, changing the way we eat can be very challenging, making it hard to stick to any diet, but it can be done.

One of the weight loss tips that really helped me is to always have access to some healthy low carb snacks at all times so you don’t have the urge to reach for the chips and cookies.  In order to make a low carb snack healthy you will want to make sure the food you are preparing has a good balance of protein, healthy fats, and fiber.

Here are some easy snack ideas:

Hard Boiled Eggs
Dill pickles
Nuts
Berries
Cottage cheese
celery with tuna
celery with peanut butter
beef jerky (beef or turkey)
raw veggies with low cal/ low sugar dip
sugar free jello with sugar free cool whip
cheese with apples
smoked salmon with cream cheese
plain yogurt with berries and flax seed
raw veggies with spinach dip
lettuce wraps (roll turkey and cheese and lettuce)

While it may be easy to have some healthy low carb  snacks available, there are going to be some foods that you will have to replace, such as banana bread, pancakes, and believe it or not, cinnamon buns.  Here is one of my favorite recipes that you are sure to enjoy.
